Another Cool Prayer

Found another jewel of a prayer in my son's book of first prayers:

Day by day, dear Lord, of Thee
Three things I pray:
To see Thee more clearly,
To love Thee more dearly,
To follow Thee more nearly,
Day by day

That is a wonderful prayer. What great thoughts to be nearer to God and see Him more clearly and love Him more dearly. Sounds like a good book of prayers for adults, too.

Huh. To see the truth more clearly would be an awesome thing. I often pray for the wisdom of Solomon. If I could have one wish it would be for that; wisdom. Truth. To see the path more clearly.
